Yaoundé, February 17–25, 2024 – At the Palais des Congrès, Archi’dia made a strong impression during the 11th PROMOTE Exhibition, Cameroon’s premier economic event. Its booth showcased KEMGUEP CITY, a planned smart city in SOA, Cameroon.With over 20,000 attendees expected, many professionals and decision-makers stopped to explore interactive models and sustainable solutions. “This project embodies our vision of innovative, low-carbon, connected African urbanisation,” an Archi’dia official said.Fruitful discussions with investors and local authorities raised hopes for swift progress. “We believe this model is right for SOA,” a potential partner added. Archi’dia leaves PROMOTE 2024 confident that KEMGUEP CITY could become Cameroon’s living lab for sustainable urban development.

At the prestigious 2023 edition of the SMART CITY EXPO – a must-attend event for global pioneers in intelligent urban planning – Dieudonné Yissibi, representing the firm Archi’dia, captivated the audience by unveiling the KEMGUEP CITY project. The goal: to build a smart city from scratch in SOA, Cameroon, combining cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and innovative architecture.Before experts from Dubai, Singapore, and Barcelona, Mr. Yissibi presented groundbreaking solutions: autonomous energy management, green mobility, connected infrastructure, and eco-friendly local materials. “KEMGUEP CITY will not be a mere technological showcase, but a living, inclusive, and resilient ecosystem,” he said, drawing enthusiastic reactions. Several investors expressed readiness to support the project.This participation marks a key milestone for Archi’dia, reaffirming its ambition to put Cameroon on the map of future cities.
